Name
Calcium Carbonate 1250 mg and Vitamin D3 200 IU
Preparation
Calcium carbonate 1250 mg (equivalent to 500 mg of elemental Calcium) and Vitamin D3 200 IU (equivalent to 5 mcg of Cholecalciferol).

Indications
- Treatment of osteoporosis, rickets, osteomalacia and tetany.
- As supplement during pregnancy and lactation.
- For prevention and treatment of Calcium and Vitamin D3 deficiency.
Dosage & Administration
Adults and children above 12 years of age: 2 tablets per day, preferably one tablet each morning and one at evening with a full glass of water.
Contraindications
Absolute contraindications are hypercalcaemia, primary hyperparathyroidism, kidney stone, severe renal failure, Calcium and Vitamin D3 overdosage, hypersensitivity to any of the tablet ingredients. Relative contraindications are osteoporosis due to prolonged immobilization, renal stones, and severe hypercalciuria.
Overdosage
Symptoms of overdose may include nausea and vomiting, severe drowsiness, dry mouth, loss of appetite, metalic taste, stomach cramps, unconsciousness, diarrhoea, weakness, headache, constipation, dizziness or irritability.
