Corporate Social Responsibility: Orion Medical Scholarship
As a continuation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Orion Pharma Ltd., one of the leading Pharmaceutical companies in Bangladesh conducted “Orion Medical Scholarship Program” at Orion House on 02 Feb 2016 presided by Company Director Mrs. Arzuda Karim. Orion Phama always appreciates the 'going-to-be-doctor' who already got admitted into the medical college and decided to sacrifice their life in exchange of bringing smile to the face of ailing humanity. Orion Pharma Ltd. has decided to be with those masterminds in this voyage towards a noble mission by offering scholarship to those medical students of the country who cannot afford the exorbitant cost of medical education. Orion Pharma Ltd. is offering scholarships to 20 (twenty) students from different Govt. Medical Colleges with 4 (four) students from each academic year (1st year to 5th year). All poor and meritorious students of each year (1st year to 5th year) from different Govt. Medical Colleges are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The program ended up with proving Scholarship cheque to 08 Medical Students from different Medical Colleges. Medical students along with their parents were present on this auspicious program and showed heartfelt gratitude to Orion Pharma Management for this noble effort.
Orion distributes blanket and winter clothes to the orphan and underprivileged students
Every year, during winter and rainy seasons, Orion Group distributes clothes to the distressed people. As part of Group's CSR, we are distributing blanket and warm clothes in this winter to the poor people. On January 02, 2016, Orion has distributed warm clothes and blanket to the orphan and underprivileged students in a local orphanage in Dhaka. The Head of Administration of Orion Group Mr. Sazed Karim (in the picture) headed the team of Orion during distribution.
Press Release for The Annual General Meeting (AGM) - 2015 of Orion Infusion Ltd.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Orion Infusion Ltd. was held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at the Officer's Club, 26 Baily Road, Dhaka. Mr. Mohammad Obaidul Karim - Chairman, Mr. Salman Obaidul Karim - Managing Director, Mr. Md. Ebadul Karim, Mr. Md. Rezaul Karim, Mr. Golam Mohiuddin - Independent Director, Mr. Md. Ferdous Jaman-Company Secretary and Mr. Samaresh Banik - CFO were present in the meeting. In presence of significant number of Shareholders, the Audited Accounts for the financial year 2014-2015 was presented. The Shareholders unanimously approved the Audited Accounts in the said AGM. The declaration of Cash Dividend @ 13% for the year ended June 30, 2015 was also approved in the said AGM. Md. Ferdous Jaman Company Secretary
